He was briefed on the work flow and strategy, including plans, programs and the use of modern devices and technologies that contribute to the promotion and development of prosperity and economic growth.
Customs President Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa has met a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) delegation. The meeting reviewed cooperation and coordination. Both sides reviewed the exchange of expertise in Automated Targeting Systems (ATS).
The system is a decision support tool that compares traveller, cargo, and conveyance information against law enforcement, intelligence, and other enforcement data using risk-based scenarios and assessments.
