His Excellency President of Customs Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa has signed a contract with the Singapore-based CrimsonLogic Company to implement the single window for trade system "OFOQ2". It is an advanced e-portal to manage various government procedures, including Blockchain technologies that promote the accuracy of digital customs transactions and protect the confidentiality of information with minimum human interference.

Customs Affairs launched new payment service

Customs Affairs announced on Wednesday the launch of the payment service of many customs statements in one transaction through the eGovernment portal through debit or credit bank cards. The service was launched in cooperation with the Information & eGovernment Authority. Customs Affairs asserted that the service allows clients to pay up to 10 customs statements in one payment. In addition, clients could pay if they are inside and outside Bahrain with few details such as the number of the customs statement and CR of the importer.
