Customs Clearance Committee holds its periodic meeting
The Customs Clearance Committee has held its periodic meeting led by the Director-General of Customs Clearance and Services, Waleed Al Sabagh. The online meeting was held with the participation of representatives from ministries and government authorities.
The meeting highlighted the role of the supervisory bodies in the Economic Operator Programme and the importance for their representatives to be present at the customs ports. The event also discussed the expansion of the whitelist to promote coordination between the Customs Affairs and the supervisory bodies to facilitate trades by reducing cost and time.
