President of Customs chairs a GCC meeting

His Excellency President of Customs Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa has chaired the 26th online meeting of the Gulf Customs Union.

The meeting was attended by members of the union and the Assistant Secretary for Economic Affairs and Development of the Gulf Cooperation Council General Secretariat.

He welcomed the attendees, asserting the importance of continuing efforts to reinforce joint Gulf operations by setting unified customs, trade and economic systems.

Customs Affairs holds an honouring ceremony

Under the patronage of His Excellency President of Customs, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Customs Affairs has held an honouring ceremony for the participating companies in the workshop. 

The training event was on customs procedures for commercial shipments. The online event targeted 15 logistic service companies and shipment agencies.  The workshop allowed participating companies to get the accredited operator licence for shipment services, to be able to transfer shipments from Khalifa bin Salman Port and the Bahrain International Airport in two hours.
