President of Customs, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa handed the Economic Operator Certificate to two companies after fulfilling all criteria of the certificate.

The criteria include the commitment to the maximum level of customs systems and procedures, as well as related activities listed in the Customs Affairs’ economic operator guide.

President of Customs and Deputy President of the World Customs Organisation (WCO), Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa has chaired the council meeting of the organisation and the 50th regional meeting for Director-General of Customs in the Middle East and North Africa region.

The current session has witnessed many developments, including the approval of the strategy 2019-2022 that was drafted in association with all member countries.
