Under the patronage of President of Customs Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Customs Training Institute has held a graduation ceremony for the 18th batch of the Customs Affairs Orientation Course.
Customs President distributed certificates among the graduates and trainees, asserting investment in the workforce as part of the strategic goals of the Customs Affairs through the support of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. He highlighted the continuation of building capabilities to meet development requirements.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the Director-General of Resources and Information Technology Shaikh Turki bin Duaj Al Khalifa delivered a speech in which he highlighted the continuation of the development of training programmes to enhance the skills of customs personnel.
The three-month course included 16 theoretical and training customs-related topics.
