Universal Children’s day is celebrated on 20th November every year. Its purpose is to promote international togetherness and awareness among children. It is also an occasion celebrated to promote the welfare of Children all over the world.

Universal Children’s day was first established in 1954 and is also the day the ‘Declaration of the rights of children’ was adopted by the UN General Assembly in 1959 and later in 1989.
