Customs Affairs holds meeting with ITC delegation
The Customs Affairs has held a meeting with a delegation from the International Trade Centre where the representatives from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce & Tourism and Tamkeen were also present. It was part of the preparations to set up the Exports Development Office in Bahrain.
The ITC assists countries to improve their exports by providing free information programmes. Thus, the Customs Affairs will enrol its employees for training to learn about the customs work and the export and import laws.
The ITC also expressed its willingness to hold a workshops at the Customs Training Institute.
