His Excellency Customs Affairs President Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa has granted the Economic Operator Certificate to Nestle Bahrain Trading after fulfilling the certificate's criteria. The criteria include the commitment to the maximum level of customs systems and procedures and related activities listed in the Customs Affairs’ economic operator guide.
The President of Customs said that the Economic Operator is part of the international trade movement that meets the World Customs Organisation (WCO) systems. It includes importers, exporters, manufacturers, mediators, transportation companies, ports, airports, ports operators, warehouses and distributors.
The Customs Affairs asserted that companies interested in receiving the certificate should visit the website www.bahraincustoms.gov.bh to know about the criteria and conditions for the accreditation.
