Customs President: sales in the Jewellery Arabia increase by 20%
His Excellency President of Customs Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa announced on Monday that the statistics indicate an increase of 20% of sale value in the Jewellery Arabia Show. He said that the sales of exported goods increased by 17% compared with last year. The amount reached BD9,453,261.640 this year, while it was BD8,059,968.300 last year. Sales of products in local markets reached in 2018 BD2,586,191.90, while it was BD1,937,310.25 with an increase by BD33%.
Statistics also show an increase in the value of the exported and local products that reached BD675,669,930.69 this year, while it was BD475,139,648.64 last year with an increase of 42%
