HE Customs President appointed WCO Deputy President
The Customs directors-general in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) countries renewed their trust in Bahrain for the third consecutive time by selecting Customs President His Excellency Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa as the Deputy President of the World Customs Organisation and regional representative for the 2018-20 session. The selection was in appreciation of his dedication in representing the region.
The decision was taken at the 47th meeting of the MENA Customs directors-general, chaired by the Customs President, in Cairo recently. The meeting reviewed the recommendations of the previous meeting held in Egypt.
