His Excellency Customs Affairs General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received on Sunday President of Customs Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his winning as the Chairperson of the World Customs Organisation (WCO) Council.
He congratulated him, highlighting that the high profiled post reflects the international position of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the competency of Bahrainis to be appointed in international organisations. He highlighted that the President of Customs deserves the new post that has an influencing role in the global economy because of his expertise and skills.
HE Interior Minister hailed the efforts of the President of Customs and his roles in promoting customs services to meet the development goals of the Kingdom. He wished him all the best.
Shaikh Ahmed expressed thanks and appreciation to HE Interior Minister, hailing his directives to develop work and achieve further accomplishments.
