President of Customs chairs the WCO session
President of Customs and Acting Chairperson of the Wolrd Customs Organisation (WCO), Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa will chair on Monday the six-day meetings of the 83rd Session of the Policy Commission.
The meeting will discuss topics on the agenda to refer them to the WCO council, including the approval of the 82nd session report and the General Secretariat report for the last phase.
The WCO council will hold its 137th extraordinary session from December 10 to 12 with the participation of 183 member countries. The two events will be held virtually for the second time because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
