His Excellency President of Customs, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa has received Chairman of Ajman Department of Ports and Customs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi and the accompanying delegation. In the beginning, the President welcomed the guests and highlighted that the visit was part of efforts to reinforce joint works between GCC customs authorities.
The delegation was briefed on Bahrain Customs' accomplishments via an introductory film, as well as about customs-related developments in the kingdom, such as the launch of a customs clearance system for trucks and an electronic clearance system. The visit aims to showcase the programmes and systems of both customs departments, as well as to benefit from their expertise, initiatives and best practices.
