Customs President Shaikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa has handed the Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) Certificate to SULB Company, after it fulfilled the highest level of requirements related to customs procedures, systems and activities. The company has also been listed in the Authorised Economic Operator Programme Guide issued by the Customs Affairs.
The AEO is defined as one of the participating party in the movement of international trade in a manner that conforms to international customs regulations or to equivalent adopted standards of the supply chain security. The economic operators include importers, exporters, manufacturers, brokers, transportation companies, ports, airports, port operators, warehouses, and distributors. The certificate was given to several companies last year.
