Customs Affairs foils the trafficking of 205,429 Captagon pills

The Customs Affairs, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, has foiled the trafficking of 205,429 Captagon pills in a wooden package.

The customs officers searched the package after suspecting its contents to find the narcotics hidden inside it. The found items were referred to the General Directorate for legal proceedings.

The Customs President Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa announced on Saturday a new milestone of the Customs Affairs of reducing the average waiting period for loaded trucks coming to Bahrain to 52 minutes in the first half of August, compared with 757 minutes in the previous years.  This was highlighted in the performance indicators of the King Fahad Causeway.
