President of Customs and World Customs Organisation (WCO) Deputy President, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa has met virtually WCO Representatives of the President and General-Secretary of organisation.
He welcomed thanks and appreciation to the efforts of the WCO officials and their follow up of the commercial and economic developments in relation with the coronavirus.
His Excellency President of Customs, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa hailed on Wednesday appreciation of the brave and historic step of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for declaration supporting peace with Israel. He said that it is a successful leading step to face strategic challenges and the protection of supreme national stability in the Middle East.
He said that the declaration would contribute to reinforcing trade system and customs cooperation between the two countries, to create investment opportunities for economic gains.
