HE Customs President appointed WCO Deputy President

The Customs directors-general in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) countries renewed their trust in Bahrain for the third consecutive time by selecting Customs President His Excellency Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa as the Deputy President of the World Customs Organisation and regional representative for the 2018-20 session. The selection was in appreciation of his dedication in representing the region.

Customs President praises clearing agents role

His Excellency Customs President Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa received Customs Clearing Agents Society President Yasser Al Ameen and the society’s board members on Sunday.

The Customs President congratulated them for winning the election for the new term and praised the society’s role in promoting and developing the customs activities. The Society President thanked the Customs Affairs for its periodic meetings to review issues of common interest.
